This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration, Office of Regulatory Affairs, Office of Regional Operations, Division of Food Defense Targeting (Formerly known as the Prior Notice Center), Herndon Virginia.

 

The FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs is the lead office for all FDA Field activities as well as providing FDA leadership on imports, inspections, and enforcement policy.  ORA supports FDA Product Centers by inspecting regulated products and manufacturers, conducting sample analysis on regulated products, and reviewing imported products offered for entry into the United States.  ORA also develops FDA-wide policy on compliance and enforcement.

 

This vacancy is for employees to be assigned to the 3:00pm to 11:00pm shift but incumbent must be willing to work overtime and rotating shifts if necessary.

 

Incumbents assess and evaluate sensitive information related to national security that requires obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance.

 

Salary range listed does include locality pay.
