ALABAMA AIR NATIONAL GUARD

This position is located in the Munitions Maintenance, Storage, Handling, and Missile Maintenance Section of the
Munitions Maintenance Branch. The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance on assigned missiles, operate,
repair, maintain and calibrate missile test equipment, operate the Combat Ammunition System (CAS B), store, handle
and perform intermediate level maintenance on assigned conventional munitions.

EXCEPTED POSITION: Alabama Air National Guard membership is required.

POSITION STATUS: NON-MERIT

LOCATION: 187TH FW, MONTGOMERY, AL

*INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT:  THIS POSITION WILL BE FILLED AS AN INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT FOR AN UNSPECIFIED PERIOD OF TIME.  THE INCUMBENT MAY BE TERMINATED UPON RECEIVING A 30 DAY NOTICE.   SHOULD THIS POSITION BECOME PERMANENT, THE INDIVIDUAL MAY BE CONVERTED TO PERMANENT STATUS WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION (AND UPON RECOMMENDATION OF SUPERVISOR AND APPROVING AUTHORITY).

Must be U.S. Citizen.

Must maintain AL Air Guard Membership for continued employment.

Maximum Military Grade/Rank: SSgt

Compatible Military Assignment: AFSC: 2WXXX

Must possess or be able to obtain Security Clearance.
