The primary purpose of this position is to perform the duties of an  Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic in the located in the Minor Shops of the Facilities Sustainment Branch of NAVFAC Mid West, Public Work Department, Crane, IN. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; A) install, maintain and repair a variety of electronic digital computer controlled systems and auxiliary equipment; B) repair and modify air conditioning, refrigeration, cooling, climatic regulation and heating equipment as well as direct digital, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems.

You must be a US Citizen.

Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance.

Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.

Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

Must be certified Type II or Universal technician required by 40 CFR 82(f).

You must obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
