About the Position:
This position will be selected either at the GS-05 or GS-07 grade level with potential promotion to the GS-11 grade level.
This position serves as a Mechanical Engineer with the Mississippi Valley District, Operations Division, River Operations Branch. This position performs professional mechanical engineering design of mechanical equipment and machinery for appurtenant structures of flood control dams, navigation locks and dams, pumping plants and large drainage structures, recreational projects, and other miscellaneous projects.
Moving expenses are not authorized.
Business Travel is required up to 25% of the time.
