WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED:  Government-wide career or career-conditional employees; Transfer and Reinstatement Candidates; 30% or More Compensable disabled Veterans; Veterans Recruitment Act (VRA) Eligibles; Qualified handicapped Individuals; Veterans who are Preference Eligibles or who have been separated from the Armed Forces under honorable conditions after three years or more of continuous active service (VEOA); and returned volunteers from the Peace Corps or Vista, etc.  You must submit proof of this eligibility with your application.

This announcement is concurrently advertised under delegated examining procedures announcement number MWE-12-OC-CUVA-048.  If you do not meet the conditions as shown above under Who May Be Considered, you may apply under delegated examining procedures.  Candidates who wish to be considered under both procedures MUST apply and submit complete application packages to both vacancies.

This is a  permanent subject-to-furlough (STF) position.   Employee will be placed on a period of non-pay status each year as a condition of employment.    Employee is guaranteed to work at least 26 weeks in a service year.

Work schedule when in pay status:  This position is full-time and works Monday - Friday on an alternate work schedule, working eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day and one day off every other week.

Relocation Costs - Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will be paid if the person selected for the position if from outside the local commuting area and is otherwise eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses under the Federal Travel Regulations.  The guaranteed home sale program is no longer available under relocation expenses..
