TEXAS ARMY NATIONAL GUARD

 

EXCEPTED TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

This position is located in G4, FMS #15, Fort Worth, TX.  The purpose of this position is to supervise workers directly or through subordinate leaders and/or supervisors in accomplishing work of the function.   Plans work operations of great scope, complexity, and administrative authority.   Determines the sequence, priority, and time for performance of operations within the limits of broad work schedules and time limits.

• All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite personnel of the Texas Army National Guard.

Appointment Factors: This is a Indefinite Excepted Position open to Enlisted members ranking E-9 and below and Warrant Officers ranks Not to Exceed W-4.  This is a Non-Bargaining Unit position.
 
Remarks:    THIS IS AN INDEFINITE POSITION WHICH MAY CONVERT TO A PERMANENT POSITION AT A LATER DATE WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION IF A NEW EMPLOYEE IS SELECTED.  IF AN ON-BOARD EMPLOYEE IS SELECTED THIS WILL BE A TEMPORARY PROMOTION.
