TEXAS AIR NATIONAL GUARD

 

EXCEPTED TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

This position is located in 147th, Reconnaissance Wing. Houston, TX . The purpose of this position is to of this position is to accomplish maintenance on electronically controlled powered support equipment containing highly complex digital devices and integrated circuits.

Appointment Factors: This is a INDEFINITE Excepted Position open to Enlisted members ranking AB/E-1 Not to Exceed SSgt/E-5.  This is a Bargaining Unit position.
 
Remarks:  THIS IS AN INDEFINITE POSITION WHICH MAY CONVERT TO A PERMANENT POSITION AT A LATER DATE WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION.  ALL TXANG UNITS WILL GIVE FIRST CONSIDERATION FOR VACANT POSITIONS TO QUALIFIED APPLICANTS FROM THE 217th TRS. 
 
PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION: PCS expenses are not authorized.
