NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED :  This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

 

This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters—State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility.   The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, and/or overhaul of a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, and special purpose vehicles and equipment.

 

DUTY LOCATION :   FISM #4 MATES, Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA 23824

 

EMPLOYMENT STATUS :  Excepted Service Male/Female Enlisted (NTE E8)

 

WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted (NTE E8) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.

 

MILITARY CRITERIA:  Applicant must be qualified and eligible for award of an  MOS as follows:  CMF: 12, 13, 14, 19, 25, 88, 91, 92, 94;   

 

MILITARY ASSIGNMENT :   Applicant selected for this military technician position must occupy a military assignment in the Virginia Army National Guard that ensures proper grade, unit, and MOS prior to placement.
